We recommend that you apply to restore your licence to practise between two and three months before you’re due to begin work in the UK.

Applying ahead of time ensures that there is plenty of time to resolve any queries without impacting on your planned start date.

You can also specify when you want your licence to be restored, up to three calendar months from the day you submit your application (as long as we have all the evidence by this date). We recommend you choose a date that is no more than two weeks before your planned return to UK practice.
