There is a range of organisations available to assist you when raising a concern about the standard of care from a hospital, doctors’ surgery or clinic. They will be better placed than us to investigate your concerns and provide you with feedback.

The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority

The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) is Northern Ireland’s independent health and social care regulator. It encourages continuous improvement in the quality of health and social care services through a programme of inspections and reviews. All RQIA inspection and review reports and information about its work, can be accessed on its website.
