Time away from the register

The evidence we need from you depends on how long you've been off the register:

  • less than 90 days
  • between 90 days and two years
  • over two years.

Usually, you'll need to give us more evidence the longer you've been off the register. You'll need to demonstrate that you meet our registration standards.

When you request an application form, we’ll give you the form that matches the time period that applies to you at that time.

We calculate the time you’ve been off the register from the date we receive your application, not the date you request the form. If you delay applying, you may move into a different time period. If this happens, you may need to complete a different form or give us more evidence.
