You may only be able to work in an approved practice setting initially
If your application is successful you may be required work in an approved practice setting until the first time you revalidate.
Doctors are usually subject to these requirements when they:
- have spent a period outside medical practice
- have worked outside the UK for longer than two years
An approved practice setting is an organisation that will give you the supervision, support and training you need. It will also be able to identify and act on any concerns raised about fitness to practise and provide regulatory assurance.
