The information in your application is valid for three months. This is the maximum we can keep your application open.
We’ll contact you if we need more information
When we have your documents and information we may ask you for more evidence. We may also refer your application for advice. We’ll let you know if we do this.
1. Complete your application
Complete your application using GMC Online.
We'll ask you to upload your documents and provide information including:
- your MyIntealth ID
- details of your internship
- your registration and licensing history
- your work history
- a fitness to practise declaration
You'll also need to pay a registration fee.
2. Checks on your application
We'll assess the information you provide and complete necessary checks including:
- verification of evidence
- registration checks with overseas regulators
As we assess your application, we'll keep you updated by email. You should hear from us within five working days.
We may ask for additional information to check you meet all our registration requirements.
3. Complete a digital identity check
As part of our assessment we'll ask you to complete a digital identity check. You can complete this using our approved app and you'll need either your valid passport, EEA identity card or full UK driving licence.
4. Confirming your registration
If you meet all our requirements, we'll email you to confirm your registration.
