Fees for doctors
Doctors must pay a fee to register with us, then an annual fee to remain on the register.
Annual fees
All doctors pay an annual fee to maintain their registration. Your annual fee is due on the anniversary of your registration or restoration to the register.

Revalidation fees
All doctors who are registered with a licence to practise must revalidate. Fees are charged for those who must revalidate but do not have a connection to a designated body.

PLAB fees
The fees below are relevant for doctors who must sit PLAB 1 and 2 tests to register with us.

PLAB Cancellation fees
If you cancel your PLAB test, you will be charged a cancellation fee before any remaining amount is refunded to you. The cancellation fee amount is dependent on the number of days between your test date, and the date you cancel. We may consider refunding your cancellation fee where exceptional circumstances arise that prevent you from attending your exam – please see our PLAB 1 guide or PLAB 2 guide for further details.
