When can you apply for an additional attempt?
If you've had four failed attempts at AARA-KT you'll need to make an application if you wish to sit the exam for a fifth and final time.
What evidence is required?
A letter of recommendation from an autonomously practising anaesthetist or Lead Anaesthesia Associate clearly setting out their support, including details of additional study or training you have undertaken since your previous attempt. We must be able to verify any information provided.
How do you apply for an additional attempt?
Complete the AA request an additional attempt at AARA-KT form and return it along with the necessary supporting evidence to exams@gmc-uk.org.
