- CCT – apply for your Certificate of Completion of Training following UK approved specialist/GP training

- Non-CCT specialty Portfolio pathway – apply via the Portfolio pathway for Specialist Registration in a specialty where there isn’t an approved CCT curriculum

- Recent RSQ specialist or GP pathway - apply for Specialist and GP only registration if your Recognised Specialist Qualification was awarded within the last 3 years
- RSQ pathway Specialist or GP only - apply for Specialist and GP only registration if your Recognised Specialist Qualification was awarded over 3 years ago
- RSQ pathway with FR - apply for Full with Specialist or GP registration if your Recognised Specialist Qualification was awarded over 3 years ago
- Reassessment – apply for a reassessment of your previously unsuccessful General Systems application
- Acquired Rights for GPs – apply for GP registration because you were practising as a GP in the UK before 30 September 2005
- Existing specialist scheme – apply for specialist registration if you were appointed to a consultant position a before 1 January 1997
- CEGPR (AP) – apply for GP registration if you have completed GP training in an GMC approved training post, but failed to pass one part of the MRCGP within programme
If you already hold a certificate issued by the GMC or our predecessors
- Retrospective CCT – apply for a retrospective CCT where you were awarded CESR through the combined programme
- Existing GP certificate (JCPTGP) – apply for GP registration where you have been awarded a CEE or CPE by JCPTGP
- Existing GP certificate (PMETB) – apply for GP registration where you were awarded a CCT or CEGPR by PMETB between 12 Jan 1996 and 31 Jan 2007
- Existing specialist certificate (STA/PMETB) – apply for GP registration where you were awarded a CCST, CCT or CEGPR by the STA or PMETB between 12 Jan 1996 and 31 Jan 2007
