Making our decision
Once we’ve gathered all the information we need, two of our senior decision makers (one medical and one non-medical) will review the evidence. They'll decide whether to:
- conclude your case with no further action
- issue a warning
- agree undertakings with you to address a problem with your practice
- refer your case to the MPTS.
We will write to you with our decision and the reasons for it. We'll also tell the person who shared the concern with us, but won't share any information about your health with others.
Read the guidance our decision makers use to reach their decisions.
