- I am ready to have my qualification assessed
If you have decided that you think your qualification meets our criteria and would like us to assess it, you should also consider and understand the costs involved, some of which are non-refundable. Fees and costs include:
- The qualification assessment fee (non-refundable)
- Costs of English Language tests (if required)
- Costs to take the anaesthesia associate registration assessment (AARA)
- Fees to ECFMG, a division of Intealth to verify your qualification
- Cost of the application for registration
- Cost of your visa, flights to the UK and any accommodation and travel while in the UK for all AARA exams.
Considering these costs, we suggest you explore the likelihood of obtaining employment as an AA in the UK before applying for registration.
Once you’ve read this guidance and understand the costs involved and the evidence needed to support your assessments and application, you’re ready to have your qualification assessed.
To start your qualification assessment, you’ll need to answer a few questions on our eligibility checker. At the end of this you’ll be directed to GMC Online to create an account
