Fees for physician associates and anaesthesia associates

Physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs) must pay a fee to register with us, then an annual fee to remain on the register.

Annual fees

All physician associates and anaesthesia associates pay an annual fee to maintain their registration. Your annual fee is due on the anniversary of your registration or re-entry to the register.

Cancellation fees

If you cancel your AARA-KT or if you are an internationally qualified AA and cancel your AARA-CCA, you will be charged a cancellation fee before any remaining amount is refunded to you. The cancellation fee amount is dependent on the number of days between your test date, and the date you cancel. We may consider refunding your cancellation fee where exceptional circumstances arise that prevent you from attending your exam. For more information visit our guides on AARA-KT and AARA-CCA.
