Performance assessments as part of an investigation or hearing
Performance assessments are carried out to assess your professional performance as a doctor and obtain an independent opinion on your fitness to practise. They can be directed by:
- the GMC, to support an investigation into your fitness to practise
- an MPTS tribunal, to gather evidence for a review hearing.
