Curricula and assessment systems approval

The GMC works to ensure that curricula not only meet the standards to ensure the high quality of specialty including GP training, but that they are consistent across all medical specialties in the UK.

A review of all medical specialty including GP training curricula that lead to the award of a CCT (and many sub-specialties) was undertaken to ensure that they adhere to the standards in Standards for curricula and assessment systems and are relevant to, and ready for, specialty including GP training.
