Checks employers can make on the registers

Organisations that employ or contract doctors, physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs) can use our registers to:

  • make sure a doctor's, PA’s or AA’s registration status is suitable for the work they will do
  • make an initial check of the doctor's, PA’s or AA’s identity
  • see if there are any conditions, warnings or restrictions on their registration.

Download the doctor register

You can subscribe to download the entire doctor register for a yearly fee. Medical staffing officers use this service to add the latest registration data to their personnel systems. Find out more about subscribing to download the doctor register.

We don’t currently offer a download of the PA and AA register due to the low number of registrants. A PA/AA download may be offered in future if there is demand for this service.
