What happens if I’m unsuccessful 

If your application is unsuccessful, you’ll need to apply for a standard portfolio application.

You’ll be assessed against the GP curriculum in place at the time of your application. You’ll be evaluated in full and will be expected to provide a portfolio of evidence to show your knowledge, skills and experience meet the required standards. 

Appeals

You may have a right to appeal against our decision on your application. 

The Appeals team manage the appeals process. They are not involved in making decisions relating to entry to the Specialist or GP Register.

You're able to appeal within 28 days of receiving our decision.
