Qualification assessment process

If your qualification is from outside the UK, we need to make sure it’s acceptable in the UK for you to sit the PARA and to be eligible to apply for registration.

How do I get my qualification assessed?

We have produced criteria for acceptable overseas PA qualifications. You must first read our guidance on getting your qualification assessed and make sure that you can demonstrate and evidence you meet all of the criteria before you start the application process. You will be charged a fee for us to assess your qualification and once we’ve begun that assessment we’re unable to refund the fee paid, so you should review the criteria carefully before applying.
