Examples of interests
- Financial interests (ie those you gain directly from financially) include (but are not limited to) the following:
- interests in organisations (such as private healthcare providers, primary care practice, pharmaceutical or medical devices companies, nursing or care homes, pharmacies or dispensaries),
- patents,
- consultancy or speaker fees,
- payments to organisations you own or manage
- Indirect financial interests include (but are not limited to) any of those listed above that benefit your employer or anyone close to you including family members, friends, other close associates or organisations
- Other direct or indirect personal or professional interests may include (but are not limited to) free education, training opportunities, research benefits, personal relationships, or enhancements to professional reputation.
