A doctor who has completed approved sub-specialty training can have this added to the Specialist Register alongside the relevant parent specialty.

Updating the list of approved sub-specialties

We don't currently recognise new sub-specialties. If a recognised sub-specialty is no longer needed, the relevant medical royal college or faculty can apply to remove it from our list.
