As a GMC associate, your independent assessment of a doctor’s performance helps us understand what we may need to do to protect patients.

Every year we carry out around 70 performance assessments – medical practitioners tribunals and our decision makers rely on these when deciding what action to take. This is why your work is important to helping us regulate safely and effectively.
