How do I update my GMC Online account?

If you’ve not used your GMC Online account since 31 August 2021, you need to update your account before you can log in.

To do this:

  • Open Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer 11.
  • Go to GMC Online.
  • Log into your existing account, by entering your GMC reference number, and password. Please do not create a new account.
  • If you don’t have your password, you can request a new one by clicking on the ‘forgot password’ link. If you have any problems logging in, please read our troubleshooting guide.
  • You’ll be asked to enter your preferred email address and a new password. You can use a work or personal email address, but it must be one that only you can access.
  • We’ll then send you a six-digit code to the email address you gave us, and ask you to validate your new account.
  • You can then log into your account using your GMC reference number, and password.
