Contact details

You must keep your contact details up to date, so that we can communicate any important information about your registration status to you.

You can update your email address, telephone number and postal address by going to Your details in GMC Online.

Name and gender status

You can’t update your name or gender status in GMC Online.

Updating your name

If you've changed your name and want this to be reflected on the online registers, you'll need to complete the electronic change of name form. The form tells you what evidence to provide, which you can scan and attach when you submit the form.

You should return the form and scanned evidence from your registered email address.

Updating your name and gender status

If you want to tell us about a change to your name and your gender status, because your gender status is now different from what you told us about when you first registered, please email regservices2@gmc-uk.org or call us to find out how to do this.
