If you are able to show that you have knowledge, skills and experience equivalent to a consultant in any UK health service, this guide explains how you may be able to apply for a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration in a non-CCT specialty.
It sets out how to apply for a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).
Once you open your application, you will have 12 months to submit it to us. You'll need to prepare evidence before submitting your application. Gathering evidence for a CESR application is a large undertaking, so it is important than you plan this. Once your application is submitted; it can take between three and six months to process.
