You have chosen to submit your application in a non- CCT specialty.

Non-CCT Specialties

A specialty which hasn’t been approved by us for the award of a CCT. If you apply in a non-CCT specialty you must show that you meet the standards required of a consultant in any of the UK health services.

Is my specialty appropriate?

If your specialty is not listed on our list of approved curricula below, you should contact us on equivalence@gmc-uk.org to see if your specialty is appropriate for a non-CCT CESR application.

Curricula

You’ll need to provide evidence that you have the depth and breadth of competencies required from a consultant in any of the UK health services.
You should read the curriculum which most closely matches yours to get an idea of what is required.
