Registration guidance for UK-qualified anaesthesia associates who are not on the voluntary register

This guide is for:

  • UK-qualified anaesthesia associates (AAs) who were not on the voluntary register (VR) held by the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) before regulation started.
  • UK-qualified AAs who qualified after the start of regulation, and where your data has not been shared with us by your course provider. If your course provider has sent us your data, we will have set you up with an account and emailed you with your GMC reference number. If you aren’t sure and want to check this, you can contact us.
