What do I need to provide?
When you apply, we'll ask you for the details of your GMC approved sponsor. At this point, your sponsor should already have assessed you against their sponsorship scheme and approved your sponsorship offer.
As part of your application, your sponsor will need to confirm the offer by sending us a Sponsorship Registration Certificate (SRC) by email. Please make sure this is a SRC for GMC registration, as we can’t accept UK visa sponsorship certificates for registration applications.
Please make sure your sponsor has issued your SRC before you apply. We won’t be able to process your application until we’ve received it.
Remember
To be eligible for this route, you must have been engaged in medical practice for three out of the last five years, including ten of the most recent 12 months.
We advise that you continue to practise throughout this process. Note that we don't count clinical attachments or observerships as medical practice.
