What do I need to provide?
When you apply, we'll ask you for the details of your GMC approved sponsor. At this point, your sponsor will already have made an assessment against their scheme and approved your sponsorship offer.
Once you've submitted the application, your sponsor will need to confirm your sponsorship offer by completing a Sponsorship Registration Certificate (SRC) and sending this to us by email. Please make sure this is a Sponsorship Registration Certificate (SRC) for GMC registration, as we can’t accept UK visa sponsorship certificates for your application for registration.
Remember
To be eligible for this route, you must have been engaged in medical practice for three out of the last five years, including ten of the most recent 12 months.
We advise that you continue to practise throughout this process. Note that we don't count clinical attachments or observerships as medical practice.
