Warnings
on the registrant's registration

On one or more occasions in 2024, Dr Chaib worked in breach of approved practice setting requirements, and despite being informed by the GMC that you were working in breach of these requirements and must stop until you gained a connection to a designated body, Dr Chaib continued to work in breach of these requirements. This conduct does not meet the standards required of a doctor. It risks bringing the profession into disrepute and it must not be repeated. The required standards are set out in Good medical practice and associated guidance.
In particular, Good medical practice states:
4. You must follow the law, our guidance on professional standards, and other regulations relevant to your work.
72. You should be familiar with, and use, the clinical governance and risk management structures and processes in any organisation that you work for or are contracted to.
Whilst these failings are not so serious as to require restriction on your registration, it is necessary in response to issue this formal warning.
This warning will be published on the medical register in line with our publication and disclosure policy, which can be found at www.gmc-uk.org/disclosurepolicy.
