Warnings
on the registrant's registration

On 19 July 2022, 19 October 2022, 14 November 2022, and 14 December 2022, Dr Khagram breached patient confidentiality by sharing confidential images and written material to unrelated third parties.
This conduct does not meet with the standards required of a doctor. It risks bringing the profession into disrepute and it must not be repeated. The required standards are set out in Good Medical Practice and associated guidance. In this case, paragraphs 11, 20, 47, 50 and 65 of Good Medical Practice (2013) were particularly relevant:
‘11 You must be familiar with guidelines and developments that affect your work.
20 You must keep records that contain personal information about patients, colleagues or others securely, and in line with any data protection law requirements
47 You must treat patients as individuals and respect their dignity and privacy
50 You must treat information about patients as confidential. This includes after a patient has died
65 You must make sure that your conduct justifies your patients’ trust in you and the public’s trust in the profession.’
Whilst these failings in themselves are not so serious as to require any restriction on Dr Khagram’s registration, it is necessary in response to his misconduct to issue this formal warning.
