In or around November 2025, you attempted to prescribe medication for yourself. At the time, you did not have a licence to practise medicine. This conduct does not meet with the standards required of a doctor. It risks undermining public protection, specifically patient safety, public confidence in the profession, and professional standards and conduct, and it must not be repeated. The required standards are set out in Good medical practice and associated guidance. In this case, paragraphs 4 and 81 of Good medical practice are particularly relevant: 4. You must follow the law, our guidance on professional standards, and other regulations relevant to your work. 81. You must make sure that your conduct justifies patients’ trust in you and the public’s trust in your profession. Whilst this failing in itself is not so serious as to require any restriction on your registration, it is necessary in response to issue this formal warning.
