GMC Chair pays tribute to doctors who have died fighting COVID-19
Sadly, it has been reported that a number of doctors have lost their lives working on the frontline against coronavirus.
Dame Clare Marx, GMC Chair, said:
‘We are deeply saddened by the loss of these dedicated, caring doctors, and our heartfelt condolences are with their family and loved ones at this difficult time.
‘These professionals will have made a difference for thousands of patients and we are grateful for the commitment they held until the end of their lives.
‘We are profoundly indebted to every individual facing this disease to care for patients in this crisis.’
