The national training survey is now live

The 2020 national training survey is open between 22 July and 12 August. Doctors in training and their trainers can take part. This year's survey includes questions on how the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected working experiences, training and wellbeing.

National training survey

The national training survey is a core part of the work we carry out to monitor and report on the quality of postgraduate medical education and training in the UK. Every year we survey all doctors in training and trainers for their views. The guides on this page explain more about how to complete the surveys and how the responses drive improvements. You can find information for doctors in training, trainers and organisations who support the survey on these pages.

This year’s survey is shorter than normal, and available on a mobile device. As well as questions about the pandemic, we’ll ask you about clinical supervision, wellbeing and workload. Please take 10 minutes to complete the survey - your feedback is more important than ever.
