Before you are due to qualify, your PA course provider will provide us with your details. We’ll create a unique GMC reference number for you, which you’ll keep for the rest of your career.
We’ll email you with your GMC reference number. You may need this reference number for when you apply to sit the PA National Exam (PANE)/Physician Associate Registration Assessment (PARA).
Your course provider will tell us when you have been awarded your PA qualification. We’ll also receive your PANE/PARA results directly from the Royal College of Physicians (RCP).
Once you have received your PA qualification and passed both parts of the PANE/PARA, we’ll then email you and invite you to start your application for registration.
