Generic professional capabilities: guidance on implementation

This guidance is to help colleges and faculties to integrate the Generic professional capabilities framework into their postgraduate curricula and assessment processes.

Colleges and faculties are required to integrate the Generic professional capabilities framework into their postgraduate curricula and assessment processes, and this is a requirement of the curriculum standards, Excellence by design: standards for postgraduate curricula.

Colleges and faculties must also consider this guidance in conjunction with that document and the accompanying guidance Designing and maintaining postgraduate assessment programmes.

The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges worked with us to produce this guidance.
