Associate worker status

On 1 October 2025, we introduced new contracts for the majority of our associate roles to reflect the fact they now have worker status under the Employment Rights Act 1996.

This guide gives more information about what worker status means for associates' fees, tax status, holiday pay and pensions. The information is up to date as of 9 April 2026.
