Curriculum and Associated Assessment System

Doctors wishing to undertake training in the specialty of Rheumatology must first complete 2 years of Specialty Training in a Core Medical Training (CMT) programme or Acute Care Common Stem (ACCS) programme. From ST3 onwards training is specific to Rheumatology but the training to CCT requires the completion of both core and higher approved training.

Core and higher specialty training are presented in separate curriculum documents that can be accessed by clicking the links below. The 2010 approved documentation for Rheumatology incorporates both the specialty curriculum and blueprinted assessment system.
