Specialty Curriculum and Associated Assessment System

Doctors wishing to undertake training in the specialty of Pharmaceutical Medicine must first complete 2 years of Specialty Training in a Core Medical Training (CMT) or another approved core training programme (see the curriculum). From ST3 onwards training is specific to Pharmaceutical Medicine but the training to CCT requires the completion of both core and higher approved training.

Core and higher specialty training are presented in separate curriculum documents that can be accessed by clicking the links below. The 2010 approved documentation for Pharmaceutical Medicine incorporates both the specialty curriculum and blueprinted assessment system.
