You have three months to submit your application from when you start it online. If you have not submitted your application after three months you will have to start a new one. Instructions on setting up your online account are given at the end of this guidance.

Once you have passed the PLAB test you can apply for provisional registration with a licence to practise if you have not completed your internship. If you have not passed the PLAB test please read our PLAB test guidance (opens in a new window).
Your application will be an online application. At the end of this guidance you will be given a link to set up an account in our secure web portal called GMC Online.
Please be aware that you must be granted registration with a licence to practise within three years of the date on which you passed Part 2 of the PLAB test.

Please note that in order to undertake any other posts, including Foundation programme year 2, you must hold full registration with a licence to practise.
