Regulating doctors, ensuring good medical practice

Clinical Assessment Centre Relocation

From 2010, all PLAB part 2 exams will be held in Manchester

From 2010, International Medical Graduates will take the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) Part 2 exam at a state of the art facility to be based at our new offices at 3 Hardman Street, Manchester.

The PLAB test is the main route by which International Medical Graduates demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK. Since the Clinical Assessment Centre opened in 2003, we have assessed over 23,000 International Medical Graduates from over 90 different countries. The Clinical Assessment Centre is also used for performance assessments which can sometimes be required as part of an investigation into a doctor's performance.
