The Investigation Committee
The Investigation Committee is a statutory committee of the GMC which, at the end of an investigation into concerns about a doctor, considers those cases where our case examiners:
- have been unable to agree on what should happen at the end of the investigation
- consider that a warning is appropriate, but the doctor has disputed the facts, or requested a hearing of the Investigation Committee
