What happens after I apply?
Your name will appear on the Specialist or GP Register on the date your application is granted, or on your completion of training date, whichever is the latest.
Please check the medical register before you take up a post that requires you to be entered onto the Specialist Register or the GP Register.
What date will be on my certificate?
The earliest we will grant your application is ten days before your training completion date.
If we receive your application and recommendation before your this, your certificate date will be your training completion date.
If we receive your application or recommendation after your training completion date, your certificate date will be the same date we process and grant your application. We won’t back-date your certificate date to your completion of training date.
Your training completion date is provided to us by your royal college or faculty. If you don't know this date, please check with them.
