  2. Who is eligible?

The following people are eligible to be treated as a qualifying Swiss applicant.

Swiss nationals who hold either:

  • A professional medical qualification awarded in the EEA or Switzerland, where training had started on or before 31 December 2020
  • An overseas primary medical qualification that has been recognised (or was in the process of being recognised) in Switzerland on or before 31 December 2020
     

UK nationals who hold either:

  • A professional medical qualification awarded in Switzerland, where training had started on or before 31 December 2020
  • A professional medical qualification awarded in the EEA, where training had started on or before 31 December 2020 and where the UK national is established in Switzerland
  • An overseas primary medical qualification that has been recognised (or was in the process of being recognised) in Switzerland on or before 31 December 2020
