  2. Who is eligible?

If you are a national from outside the UK, EEA and Switzerland, and are a family member of a UK or Swiss national, you may have an EU right to be treated as a qualifying Swiss applicant. You must have had this right on or before 31 December 2020 to be eligible, and will need to provide evidence of this to us.

If you are a family member of a Swiss national, you will also need to meet the eligibility criteria for Swiss nationals outlined in the previous chapter.

If you are a family member of a UK national, you will also need to meet the eligibility criteria for UK nationals outlined in the previous chapter.

Please note, under the agreement made between the UK and Swiss governments, EEA nationals are not eligible to be treated as a qualifying Swiss applicant.
