Quarantine for PLAB candidates arriving into the UK

The UK government has confirmed that many passengers arriving into the UK from overseas (excluding Ireland) will need to self-isolate for 14 days. International medical graduates travelling to sit our tests are not exempt from this rule. You must check the government website and comply with the law at the time you arrive.

This means that many candidates travelling into the UK to sit our PLAB tests will need to quarantine themselves for two weeks. If we become aware that an individual candidate hasn’t complied with quarantine laws, we’re obliged to report this and it may impact on your registration.

You can cancel your PLAB booking using GMC Online and you will automatically receive a full refund.

For more information about the latest travel restrictions, read the government advice.
