Quarantine for PLAB candidates arriving into the UK

The UK government has confirmed that from 8 June 2020, all passengers arriving into the UK from overseas (excluding Ireland) will need to self-isolate for 14 days. International medical graduates travelling to sit our tests are not exempt from this rule.

This means that all candidates travelling into the UK to sit our PLAB tests will need to quarantine themselves for two weeks. We understand that this may mean some candidates are unable to attend their PLAB 1 test in June.

You can cancel your PLAB booking using GMC online, and you will automatically receive a full refund.
For more information about the latest travel restrictions, read the government advice.
