If doctors haven’t completed a GMC approved programme but are able to show they have the knowledge, skills and experience required by the high-level learning outcomes in the approved curriculum for their specialty, they may apply for entry onto the Specialist or GP register via the Portfolio pathway.

We won’t be able to discuss a doctor’s individual application with you directly unless they give us authorisation to do so. An applicant can set this up by calling us on 0161 923 6602.
