Revalidation ‘on hold’ means that we are postponing our decision about a doctor’s revalidation.
If a doctor’s revalidation is shown as on hold, it may be because we need to make additional enquiries before we make a decision on a recommendation. In these cases a doctor’s revalidation will remain on hold until our enquiries are complete.
While a doctor’s revalidation is on hold, their licence to practise is unaffected and they should continue to take part in processes that will support their revalidation.
