Financial and commercial arrangements and conflicts of interest (summary)

This guidance will help you to recognise when conflicts of interest arise, how to avoid them wherever possible, and requirements for declaring and managing them.

There’s advice about accepting gifts, sponsorship, incentives, commissioning services, promoting products and services, and relationships with the pharmaceutical industry. It will help you to make decisions in a way that maintains public trust in the profession.

This guidance came into effect 22 April 2013.
