Deans’ reports

The online deans’ report allows deaneries and local offices to directly manage a range of items using a live system on GMC Connect. Deaneries must report all concerns to us by exception. The focus is on key areas where improvement is needed to maintain standards.

We use the system to monitor concerns highlighted through the deaneries’ own quality management processes. For example, concerns that arise from quality visits that they have conducted or from the national training surveys. 

What does the system monitor?

The system monitors:

  • concerns, both published and confidential
  • items under enhanced monitoring
  • requirements and recommendations from all visits (regional reviews, checks, small specialties).
