The national training survey is now live

The 2020 national training survey is open between 22 July and 12 August. Doctors in training and their trainers can take part. This year's survey includes questions on how the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected working experiences, training and wellbeing.

National training survey - Guide for trainers

As trainers, you have a unique view on the quality and effectiveness of medical training in the UK.

The national training survey gives you an opportunity to give confidential feedback on your experience of delivering medical education and training, and in particular, on the support you receive in your role as a trainer. This year's training survey includes a series of questions on the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and its impact on training environments and your wellbeing.

Your answers help us, Health Education and Improvement Wales, Health Education England local teams, NHS Education for Scotland, Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency, royal colleges and employers to find ways to better support you and your trainees.
