These courses have met most of our standards but have outstanding areas which require further assurance.

The legislation for the regulation of PAs and AAs allows us to attach conditions on approval when most of our standards are being met, but some areas require further assurance. By attaching conditions to approval, we ensure that any outstanding areas of our standards can be addressed through a targeted action plan and additional quality assurance activities.
For all courses approved with conditions, the conditions are linked to the mapping of the course syllabus against the PA and AA shared learning outcomes. More detail on these outstanding areas can be found in Annex B of our Council paper with recommendations on approval.
We have agreed a targeted action plan for each course and will be able to withdraw conditions as soon as we are satisfied that our standards are being met in full. We will update this page accordingly.
