Helping doctors become reflective practitioners

New guidance for doctors and medical students on reflective practice is being produced by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC), the Conference of Postgraduate Medical Deans (COPMeD), the General Medical Council (GMC) and the Medical Schools Council (MSC).

The co-produced guidance will be published soon, along with practical tools and learning materials to support doctors as reflective practitioners.

We’ve also started to work with other health regulators to look at how we can develop an approach to team based reflection.
