We have three vacancies on the Part 2 Panel due to members’ terms of office coming to an end.

The GMC's Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) Test - the main route to registration for international medical graduates - comprises Part 1 (question paper) and Part 2 (OSCE).

There is a Panel for each Part, responsible for ensuring that each exam is of the appropriate standard and for recommending developments.

We have three vacancies in the following specialties on the Part 2 Panel due to members’ terms of office coming to an end:

  • General Practice
  • Medicine
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Applicants should be practising clinicians at the level of Consultant or GP Principal, or of equivalent academic status, with knowledge and understanding of assessment methods, and of the duties and responsibilities of a doctor successfully completing FY1, and experience of running OSCEs.

Applicants on the medical register are required to hold a licence to practise.

The closing date for completed applications is Wednesday 30 June 2010.
